Paragraph writing

           Paragraph  is a  genre/style or category of  writing  that  needs  careful  planning  and  effort. When  communication  is in  the  written  medium, the  idea  to  be  presented  requires  thinking, rethinking, writing  and  rewriting.     


          Continuous  writing  without  indentations  or  spacing  in  the  beginning  or  between  the  paragraphs  may  create  problem  for  readers. There  may be  a  chance  for  the  readers  to  loose  their  track  of  the  concept. Paragraphing  is  a  method  used  by  writers  to  divide  materials  into  units. It  helps  the  readers  to  locate  and  comprehend  the  important  points.


          A  paragraph  may  be  a  single  sentence  or  a  group  of  sentences  revolving  around  a  single  topic  sentence. A  paragraph  should  be  developed  by  using  the  supplementary  details  in  a  logical  order  so  that  there  will  be coherence  in  thought.
